Vampires ▌Physical Appearance Vampires are almost exclusively human in appearance, though there are vampiric elves, Sirens, Nymphs, Merpeople and Harpies. They have a set of retractable fangs or in some cases fangs that stay in place constantly in their mouths this is how they feed on their victims. The fangs have small hollow tubes running through them to the tip, these administer a type of venom, that's more like a drug to their victims when bitten, this drug makes their victims unable to fight back most of the time, it makes them feel a sense of lust and euphoria but it also thins the blood making it easier to drink. Often vampires become pale in skin tone, by comparison to others of their original species.▌Maximum Age Ageless, if turned they are halted at the age they were turned, if they are born a vampire they age at a much slower rate, sometimes even dropping to one year every 100 - 200 years until they reach a physical age between 14 - 30 where they are halted and stay that way until they're killed. ▌Native Worlds All worlds have vampires however they hail primarily from Al-Kifar. Some worlds have big vampire families. Al-Kifar - Eymor Family (White Rose) - A vampiric family that believes the best use of their abilities is to protect the general public. They are often knights and hold fast upon Chivalry. Shibetsu - Tanaka Family (Red Rose) - A family that doesn't really care too much about other vampires, they're happy with their lot in life and stick to themselves. They do however believe in honorable and glorious combat should they be forced in to war. Umbra - Shade Family (Black Rose) - The Shade family believe that vampires are apex predators and that other species should bow to them, they're stuck up, snobby people though sometimes some of them can change if given the right motivation. ▌Magic Rarity 50/50 chance to be magical or physical. As not all vampires are magically inclined nor are all physically strong. They are however all very quick on their feet but Roll 1d20 in the 'Rolling thread'. Even numbers = magic Odd numbers = non-magical ▌Magical Elements Use Darkness, Ice or Wind. Vampires Curse Once per combat situation a vampire can bolster their magic damage +2, this extra damage should it hit will add +1 to the vampires health if they are not already at their maximum. Roll 1d1000 please see the results and how long the ability will last for. 2 - 400 = 1 turn ▌Physical Abilities If you roll only physical, then you gain this ability. Vampiric Speed Once per combat situation a vampire can add +100 to their evade or they can add +3 to their dexterity for a number of turns. Duration is based on a roll. ▌Can Breed With? Their base species is what applies, if born a vampire they can only breed with other vampires, dragons, yokai, humans or demons. No vampire can breed with a Bird of Paradise.▌Starting Stat Bonuses If born a vampire Strength - +2 Dexterity - +2 Intelligence - +2 Luck - -2 Health Points - +1 Evade - 75 Magic Resistance - 75 Base Melee Damage Output - +1 Base Magic Damage Output - +1 Base Healing Output - -1 If turned Add the following to your base species stat bonuses Strength - +1 Dexterity - +1 Intelligence - +1 Luck - -3 ▌Additional Information Being turned The vampire drains the victim of most of their blood to where the victim is dying, they then feed the victim vampire blood which carries the vampire curse. They feed them so much that they're ingesting a lot more than they have of their original blood, the curse will at this point take effect and kill the victim only to resurrect them as a vampire. There's no such thing as 'accidental' turnings. There's only willing and forced and it can be done to someone of ANY age, though the 'Vampiric Council of Three Roses' frown upon and will execute anyone who turns a person under the age of fourteen, they will also put the child out of their misery. Those who are turned will never age past the point they are turned. Being Born a Vampire Those whom are born vampires do actually age, however they age at a much slower rate to humans, sometimes even dropping to one year every 100 - 200 years until they reach a physical age otherwise known as 'peak physical condition' between 14 - 30 where they are halted and stay that way until they're killed or die from vampiric diseases. Sires If a sire is killed in any other way than ritual execution, the vampires they have sired will also die. If the Sire willingly commits suicide or allows someone to kill them, the vampires they have sired will remain as they consciously sever their curse ties to those people. Sires have a certain amount of power over those they sire, requests cannot be disobeyed unless it conflicts with the bloodlines family code. Ritual Execution If sentenced to execution by the three rose council, the vampire in question will have silver nails in the wrists binding them to an oak stake, on a pyre made of pine wood, and they will be burned alive at the sunrise of a new day. Sun Those who are born vampires can walk around during the day, those turned by a pureblood also get this same ability however others whom are turned by non-purebloods will burn and will have to stay indoors during such hours, it's not the sort of burn where they explode in to flame or suddenly combust in to ash, their skin slowly starts to char and flake away instead allowing them time to seek shelter. Blood There is a list of blood from different species that falls in to three categories, of these three categories some will be more preferred than others but it's personal taste. Best quality is the best quality blood for a vampire to have, so long as the person they're drinking from doesn't have any blood related diseases they're good and will fill a vampires stomach after a feeding. Acceptable quality doesn't really fill a vampires stomach and hunger, think of it like junk food. Poisonous is pretty self explanatory, these blood types will make a vampire incredibly sick. Best Quality Lamia/Naga (Although usually rare to get hold of, a single feeding from a lamia or naga can sustain a vampire for weeks at a time, it does however tend to cause vampires to become rather possessive of the creature, that is an added side effect of the blood. It's a way for the lamia/naga to protect itself by having something else protect it and keep it safe. Some vampires might mistake this possessive nature as them falling in love with the lamia or naga. It's simply what would be a light drug in the creatures blood that causes this. The blood itself is quite sweet to the taste. Other fluids from lamia/naga can be ingested by vampires often tasting like fruit or alcohol, these other fluids can actually also sustain a vampire just as good as blood can and a lamia's venom does not work on a vampire.)
